What is Flipped Classroom?
Hi, my dear readers. I hope that you are all well. In this post, I will tell you about what a flipped classroom is, its advantages and disadvantages, and the flipped teaching video I have prepared with my friend. Let's find out what a flipped classroom is. A flipped classroom is a type of blended learning. And in this approach, students are introduced to the lesson's content at home and practice this content at school. Commonly, in this approach, students watch pre-recorded videos and then they answer the questions of the teacher and practice the content with some background knowledge that they gain at home through pre-recorded video. And of course, as with any learning approach, this approach has advantages and disadvantages. For example, flipped approach improves students’ learning motivation, and allows students more time to solve problems individually and etc. But besides these advantages, flipped classroom requires students to have access o technology and this can be a challenge for students who do not have access to technology or in a traditional classroom students have the opportunity to ask questions but in a flipped classroom, students may not have an opportunity like that.
And in this context, which I told you about, we have prepared a video as an example of a flipped approach according to the assignment that our instructor gave us this week. We prepared our video through Animaker site. The only part that we had difficulty creating the video was that some characters or templates were actually paid. Apart from that, it was very enjoyable to make the video. I hope you like our video. And see you in another post guys.
